Transaction activity in the sale-leaseback market slowed appreciably in the first quarter, to 173 deals totaling $4.81 billion, according to SLB Capital Advisors. That compares with the $7.44 billion of deal activity posted in the fourth quarter and $8.57 billion of activity in last year’s first quarter.
