KKR Real Estate Credit Opportunity Partners has jumped to the top of a ranking of CMBS conduit B-pieces buyers, with four deals totaling $3.49 billion, or nearly 18 percent of the $19.87 billion of conduit issuance this year through the end of September. While it was the most active buyer of conduit risk-retention bond classes, its overall activity was dwarfed by that of Prima Capital.
