A rash of tenant vacancies have resulted in the historic building’s occupancy rate plunging to less than 50 percent, challenging its ability to refinance its $124 million financing package, or have its term extended. The vacancies come as the Philadelphia office market has continued to soften. A $62.39 million piece of the financing is securitized through Natixis Commercial Mortgage Securities Trust, 2018-FL1.
