San Francisco’s office market reported a 32.5 percent overall vacancy rate in the fourth quarter of 2023, up from 24.1 percent a year earlier, according to Cushman & Wakefield. The direct vacancy rate, which does not include available sublease space, was 24 percent in the fourth quarter.
