It’s no secret that the country’s best office buildings, generally the newest in an area and those with abundant amenities, vastly outperform lesser properties in terms of occupancy. CBRE found that the vacancy rate for prime buildings was 14.8 percent during the first quarter, while for all other buildings, it was 19.3 percent.
